Reebok Club C 85 has a storied legacy in sneaker culture. The tennis sneaker was released in 1985 and the “C” in the name stands for “champion.” These minimalist, unisex sneakers, are equally popular off the court, and can be found in white and black, with a low-cut profile, soft leather upper, comfortable moulded sockliner, and lightweight EVA midsole cushioning.
For its 40th anniversary, Reebok adds Japanese street-style fashion brand Wacko Maria’s signature animal print, creating a perfect balance of elegance and edginess, and a tribute to the counterculture spirit that forms the base of both brands. While this partnership is the first between the two brands, both brands pulled out all the stops for the collaborative design of the sneakers.
The Reebok x Wacko Maria Club C85 limited edition is edgy, stylish and youthful. Reebok interprets these sneakers in both black and white colourways, with custom leopard print lining, tumbled leather upper, tonal laces, custom branding window, custom tongue label and footbed. PS Each pair of sneakers comes in a custom limited-edition box that matches the shoe’s colourway! The Reebok x Wacko Maria Club C85 is available at Reebok.com, Wacko Maria stores, and at select retailers.
