GapStudio By Zac Posen features elevated wardrobe essentials that evolve the brand identity while staying true to its heritage. Recognised for his mastery of structure and detail, Posen brings his signature artistry to every piece. The concept for GapStudio emerged after Zac Posen’s appointment in February 2024. It also houseS his special projects for celebrities, such as the satin two-piece set for Timothée Chalamet on his Oscars press tour last month and a shirtdress for Anne Hathaway last summer.

“GapStudio is where craftsmanship, creativity and culture come together. Inside Gap’s New York HQ, we’ve built a creative studio where I’ve designed looks for the red carpet, and where we’ll continue to collaborate with visionary talent in the future”, he says.

The campaign with Gwyneth Paltrow and her daughter Apple Martin for GapStudio Fall 2025 was photographed by Mario Sorrenti with creative direction by Zac Posen. Shot through the lens of connection and legacy, it captures the beauty of shared style. The accompanying short film, directed by LOOK and Julian Klincewicz, explores how clothing moves through time: borrowed, reinterpreted, and made personal.

In the GapStudio campaign, the mother- daughter duo are spotted in pieces from Collection 3, which include denim staples, slip dresses, faux leather jackets and tailored essentials. “This campaign and collection are about connection through style,” says Zac Posen, who was appointed as Gap Inc.’s executive vice president and creative director in February 2024. “They reflect how clothing moves through time, borrowed, reinterpreted, and made personal. The collection itself was inspired by the feeling of ’90s New York–the music, the energy, the mix of elegance and edge—a moment when modernism and nostalgia collided to create a new style language.”

The 38-piece Fall 2025 collection, which is now available on Gap’s website, mixes ’90s-era minimalism with a ’60s vibe, playing into GAP’s strength as a wardrobe builder. Gwenyth Paltrow’s classic style is visible in the cotton-poplin pussy-bow blouses while her young daughter’s edgy style complements the denim dresses. That’s not all! Some of the pieces sit in the generational middle ground, such as the satin slip dresses and the wool coats.

“Gap has always been known for campaigns that bridge generations and shape culture,” says As Mark Breitbard, CEO, Gap in an official statement. “This latest chapter continues that legacy, celebrating timeless design, self-expression and the enduring spirit of creativity that defines the brand.”

Per WWD: ‘Gwyneth Paltrow and daughter Apple Martin’s joint fall 2025 campaign for GapStudio generated $1 million in media impact value within one week of the collection’s announcement, according to Launchmetrics.’
