ThredUp Inc., together with its subsidiaries, operates online resale platforms that allows consumers to buy and sell secondhand women's and kids' apparel, shoes, and accessories. ThredUp Inc. was incorporated in 2009 and is headquartered in Oakland, California.

Our mission at thredUP is to “inspire a new generation of consumers to think secondhand first” and we need exceptional people to do that. Part of our “people plan” is to really work hard to ensure we have the right people at the company and that they value the people they work with and the culture of the company.

Our vision is to lead the reinvention of clothes and create a world where no one needs to buy new.

ThredUp has won many awards for its innovative approach to keeping clothes out of landfills, including the NIH CEEC Award for Circular Economy Innovation and the SJF Environmental Leadership Award.
