The emphasis in bridal couture is on traditional styles, cultural sensitivity, and practicality. Clubwear is all about incorporating the most recent fashion trends into daring and bold designs. Accessory design necessitates a careful balance of form and function… each category is distinct and necessitates a different set of skills and considerations, making it a dynamic and exciting field to work in,” he tells Luxury Facts.

It’s a reinterpretation of couture for a new era, where glamour, aberration and comfort converge seamlessly creating an irresistible fashion synchronicity,” he told Style List.

Products and Services

The luxury fashion brand retails prêt, haute couture and bridal wear in addition to home, furniture, perfume and fashion accessories. Rocky S also designs costumes for Bollywood films.

His showing for Delhi Times Fashion Week masterfully combined multiple couture techniques and textures. He told Explosive Fashion: ‘It’s a glamorous collection steeped in influences from the gothic era. Its opulent heritage calls for deeper scrutiny, to look between the cracks and find beauty in its imperfection. My attempt is to translate this emotion on the catwalk through a manifestation of old world charm in dramatic silhouettes with prints, lace and hand embroideries. Wearability is key but I like my ensembles to have drama.’

Rocky S’ showing at India Beach Fashion Week 2015 showcased glamorous resort looks that were subsequently sighted in The Hamptons and Bollywood red carpets. The line-up included metallic stretch pants, antique gold halter gown, sequinned strapless mini dress and sequinned shorts worn with a lace bustier and tulle cape. The final look—gold sequinned mini dress—left his guests with a complete realisation of the concept and showmanship that drive his creativity.
