Dutch lingerie brand Hunkemöller has been acquired by American investment company Redwood Capital Management, LLC. Through its investment vehicles, the firm focuses on opportunistic credit and other special situation investments across industries and geographies.

Hunkemöller has been acquired by Redwood Capital Management, LLC.
This acquisition should bring some financial stability and long-term growth to Hunkemöller, which has been struggling — results for the financial year 2024 are not released though the lingerie brand reported an 8 percent drop in turnover in 2023.
Hunkemöller has over nine hundred stores in eighteen countries and a strong online presence. The company has changed owners several times. The key drivers of this acquisition seem to be retail transformation, digital innovation, operational efficiency, and a consumer-centric approach.
“We look forward to building Hunkemöller’s future together with Redwood,” said Hunkemöller CEO Brian Grevy, per just-style. “Our focus is on delivering an unparalleled omni-channel customer experience and strengthening our position as the leading lingerie brand.”
