Kering announces the appointment of Mehdi Benabadji as the new CEO of Ginori 1735 and Federico Arrigoni as the new CEO of Brioni.
Mehdi Benabadji, who has led Brioni as CEO since 2020, brings to Ginori 1735 a strong track record in strategic transformation and international development. Under his leadership, Brioni underwent a successful operational reorganization and experienced strong growth momentum, reinforcing its position in the luxury menswear landscape. As CEO of Ginori 1735, he will spearhead the next phase of expansion for the iconic Florentine House and further elevate its position in the global luxury lifestyle and homeware segment. He will report to Jean-Marc Duplaix, Kering Deputy CEO and Chief Operating Officer.

Federico Arrigoni was most recently Deputy CEO and Asia Pacific President of Saint Laurent. He joined Kering in 2006 at Gucci and was appointed subsequently Worldwide HR Director at Saint Laurent in 2015. Since then, he has consolidated his experience within the French House, covering key international positions such as Asia Pacific President and Chief Commercial Officer. In 2023, he was appointed Saint Laurent Deputy CEO, directly overseeing all industrial operations and commercial activities for the brand. As CEO of Brioni, his mission will be to consolidate the global positioning of the House and increase its desirability and success. He will report to Francesca Bellettini, Kering Deputy CEO in charge of Brand Development.

About Mehdi Benabadji
Mehdi Benabadji began his career in 1995 as a consultant. For eight years, he held a range of positions in luxury Houses before joining Kering in 2003. Between 2012 and 2019, he carried out a variety of executive roles, including Chief Operations Officer, in charge of the Group’s integrated logistics and industrial activities. Federico Arrigoni began his career at Decathlon in 1996, where he held various retail roles with increasing responsibilities. In 2002, he moved to Autogrill as HR Manager. In 2004, he was appointed Europe HR Manager at Dolce&Gabbana. In 2006 he joined Gucci as HR Manager, to become EMEAI HR Director and, later, Worldwide HR Retail Director. In 2015, he was appointed Worldwide HR Director at Saint Laurent. In 2020 he assumed the role of President APAC, adding in 2021 the responsibility of Chief Commercial Officer. In July 2023, he was appointed Deputy CEO of Saint Laurent.
