Singer, songwriter and Oscar-nominated actor Lady Gaga’s beauty brand ‘Haus Labs’ has collaborated with Sephora this World Pride Month to raise money and create awareness about the LGBTQIA+ community through a global initiative named “We Belong to Something Beautiful.”

From June 1 to June 30, 2025 $1 from every Haus Labs purchase made at Sephora will be donated to the “Born This Way Foundation”, a non-profit organization centred around mental health and wellness. The iconic singer co-founded the foundation along with her mother, Cynthia Bissett Germanotta, in 2012.

“If you’ve been thinking of shopping Haus Labs By Lady Gaga recently or want to re-up on your fave, now would be the time to do it,” Carolyn Bojanowski, Merchandising, Sephora US posted on LinkedIn. “Because as of June 1, through the end of the month, $1 from every Haus Labs product purchased from Sephora will be donated to Born This Way Foundation’s Kindness in Community Fund. This grant-making program funds grassroots organizations that support the mental health and wellbeing of young people by providing safe community spaces and resources that meet their needs.”

The money will be collected across twenty markets in which Sephora operates in and will go directly into the foundation’s “Kindness in Community Fund”, which provides grants to grassroots organizations helping the LGBTQIA+ youth. Anyone can nominate an organization dedicated to serving the long-term needs of the LGBTQIA+ community, to receive a portion of the money. Nominations can be placed online through the foundation’s website until the end of June and the list of grantees will be announced in December 2025.

“Haus Labs is built on the belief that artistry and self-expression are tools of empowerment,” said Angela Simpson, Chief Marketing Officer, Haus Labs by Lady Gaga. “This campaign is about showing up as you are and celebrating what makes each of us unique. We’re proud to partner with Sephora to support the next generation of changemakers.”

At the heart of this campaign is a new film featuring Lady Gaga sharing her vision of beauty as being part of a kind, inclusive, joyful, inspiring community, where everyone can safely explore and express themselves, mirroring Sephora’s purpose and vision. “At Sephora, we’re driven by our Purpose to champion a world of inspiration and inclusion where everyone can celebrate their beauty,” said Deborah Yeh, Global Chief Marketing Officer of Sephora. “Lady Gaga’s personal story is a magnificent illustration of the values we promote every day and having her sharing her own feeling about what Sephora is all about.”

“Born This Way Foundation has always been driven by the passion and leadership of young people, a vision my daughter, Lady Gaga, and I shared from the start,” said Cynthia Germanotta, President and Co-founder of Born This Way Foundation. “We’re honored to partner with Sephora and Haus Labs to reach even more young people with the message that they are seen, valued, and supported.”

About Sephora

French multinational retailer Sephora has transformed the way women shop for personal care and cosmetics and giving the traditional department store counter solid competition. Owned by LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton today,  Sephora was founded in France by Dominique Mandonnaud in 1970 and is defined by its unique open-sell environment with an assortment of products from carefully curated brands including Sephora’s own line.

Sephora’s ascent has a lot to do with Mandonnaud’s approach to merchandising. The “assisted self-service” experience encouraging consumers to test products before purchase has evolved Sephora into a powerful global brand. And- with wall-to-wall lipsticks- lotions- highlighters- perfumes—what’s not to love? Before Sephora- the standard operation model was of products locked in cases! Of course credit also goes to its continually evolving offering including both prolific and niche brands, and its own line of make-up- skincare and beauty tools.

Sephora opened its first United States store in New York in 1998, its first Canadian store in Toronto in 2004 and the first Australian Sephora store in 2014. Its North American headquarters is in New York with corporate offices in San Francisco and Montréal. Today the chain operates over 2,700 stores worldwide. Its philanthropic arm- Sephora Stands- is supporting women-owned brands with its beauty incubator ‘Accelerate’ which teaches makeup application to cancer patients, the transgender community and employees suffering from domestic violence.

Sephora has a diversity and inclusion mission: To never stop championing all beauty fearlessly and building inclusive environments for our employees, consumers, and communities. In 2020 Sephora launched “Diversity and Inclusion Heart Journey” to support its vision of becoming the Diversity- Inclusion- and Equity Champion in the retail industry.
