    Giambattista Valli will soon be elevated from Knight to Officer of the Order of Arts and Letters in July, during Paris Couture Week. The French award of merit is bestowed by the Ministry of Culture.

    The Paris-based designer was decorated as a Knight of the Order of Arts and Letters during Paris Fashion Week in September ’23. Now, he will be honoured with the title of Officer of the Order of Arts and Letters. Valli is combining the unveiling of his Fall 2025 haute couture with a celebration at his Paris headquarters.

    Established in 1957 to recognize artists, designers and writers, as well as others who have contributed significantly to the arts in France, the Order of Arts and Letters places Giambattista Valli alongside honourees such as Iris van Herpen, Demna, Simon Porte Jacquemus, architect Peter Marino and the late fashion editor André Leon Talley.

This partnership merges Valli’s craftsmanship with Artémis’s expertise, promising a new era of growth for the Maison.

    In 2021, Giambattista Valli introduced the “Love Collection,” a bridal line epitomizing romance and elegance. Simultaneously, he launched a beachwear line. These dual releases exemplify Giambattista Valli’s ability to capture timeless allure, whether on a bride’s special day or by the sun-soaked shores. In 2023, at Musée National Picasso in Paris, Giambattista Valli was honoured with the “Chevalier de l’Ordre des Arts et des Lettres” by Anna Wintour.
