Victoria Beckham foundation, developed with collaborator Professor Augustinus Bader, is now available and takes the category to a new level with the skin cell-rejuvenating power of Bader’s TFC8® (Trigger Factor Complex) delivering skin treatment with natural-looking coverage.
Victoria Beckham has launched the first foundation in her beauty line with Professor and long time collaborator Augustinus Bader. Beckham describes it as “This is the first foundation that feels like nothing yet truly does everything. We created The Foundation Drops for minimalists like me. The formula melts into your skin for a naturally flawless complexion and nourishes it with Augustinus Bader’s TFC8®️ technology as I wear it.”
Few know that Victoria Beckham has been searching for the right foundation since a long time but none were right—until she undertook responsibility for launching her own formula, the Foundation Drops, in collaboration with Augustinus Bader. Available in 19 shades, Victoria Beckham foundation is priced at £104 and the duo advise using it with The Concealer Pen by Victoria Beckham x Augustinus Bader, also available in 19 shades and retailing for $68.
The hero aspect of the foundation, TFC8®, is a proprietary technology developed by Professor Bader and is a combination of high-grade vitamins, lipids, and high-performing, proprietary peptides. It works to deliver key nutrients to the cells for renewal, combating signs of ageing and damage, to reveal healthy skin. The formula also contains echinacea purpora extract, spilanthes acmella flower extract and olive leaf.
“I get photographed a lot, and the perfect foundation was always the one product I couldn’t find. I’ve never found [one with] the correct amount of coverage, and that treats and doesn’t irritate my skin,” she told Elle ahead of the launch. “A lot of brands claim to have skin care benefits in their foundation—which they do—but I wanted to take it to another level. Augustinus Bader [skin care], in my opinion, is the best. I like to collaborate with the best. People don’t need more product unless there’s a real reason why.”
To apply the foundation, squeeze a few drops onto the back of your hand. Then, use either a brush or your fingertips to build coverage and blend into desired areas. While it will instantly deliver a smooth, airbrushed look by reducing the appearance of redness and uneven skin tone, the hybrid makeup-meets-skin-care nature of the foundation ensures it will improve complexion over time.
