Accelerator program to support fashion entrepreneurs and their startups


Startupbootcamp FashionTech Milan is an accelerator program to support fashion entrepreneurs and their startups through training, mentoring and investment.

In three years from 2019 to 2022, this initiative that has already captured the interest of prestigious brand partners will accelerate 30 innovative startups shaping the present and the future of the fashion sector, following the proven format that Startupbootcamp has been operating for 10 years all around the world.

Every year more 500 applications are expected for the FashionTech program, from which the best 10 teams will be selected after a rigorous selection process in the world tech and fashion hubs. The chosen startups will be hosted in Milan for a 13-weeks bootcamp that will grow them exponentially thanks to a broad network of corporate partners, mentors and investors.

The mission of Startupbootcamp FashionTech is to respond to the challenges of the sector, and of the program partners in particular, identifying new business models and new technologies – Artificial Intelligence, robotics, Internet of Things, blockchain, mixed reality – that can transform the entire value chain from product development to operations, marketing and sales, with a focus on sustainability.

Accelerator Program

Startupbootcamp FashionTech Milan consists of a 3-month accelerator program, where up to 10 carefully selected startups will collaborate with 150+ mentors, partners and investors to build world-class products, services and business. Their ultimate goal is to become industry-leading FashionTech companies of the future. At the end of the program, all startups will pitch their innovative ideas in front of hundreds of investors, partners and mentors on a grand finale called Demo Day.

The accelerator program is industry focused, which means that applicants should based their ideas on one of the following areas: Sustainable fabric and garment production; Smart Materials; Digitally driven manufacturing; techniques; Wearables; Supply chain transparency & traceability; Retailtech and Commerce; Customer experience and engagement; Recycling and waste management and circularity.

International FasTrack Tour

Startupbootcamp FashionTech Milan run an International FastTrack Tour where ambitious entrepreneurs from all over the world will have the chance to meet Startupbootcamp FashionTech Milan CEO Alceo Rapagna and the Managing Directors Nazzareno Mengoni and Stefano Galassi. This tour includes some of the most vibrant startup cities, like Amsterdam, London, New York, Berlin, Paris, Tel Aviv, Lisbon, Shanghai, and so on.

In all these cities, Startupbootcamp will host a FastTrack event where local startups will be able to present their idea, receive one-on-one feedback, learn about the program, and network with fellow entrepreneurs from the local ecosystems.
